Title is placed at the end of the film as it interrupts the audience focus on the opening and to let them know what the film is called.
Panning, zooming and use of point of view shot is used to make the audience feel as if they are approaching the earth form out of space. Use of explosion sets the genre of the film. The audience can tell that its going to be an action thriller due to all the explosions and conflict.
Background lighting is used to highlight points of interest. This draws in the audience in as they start to wonder what's going on.
The beginning is very slow but then it begins to speed up and adds tension as the explosion occur, the mood is conveyed.
